    Played Basketball Today

Mostly just 21 and some horse, for about 3 hours and I AM SORE!!! Came in and took a nap afterwards and wow. Now I realize how I managed to pack on about 20 unwanted lbs. I really think there is no better cardio than basketball, especially if you're competitive at all.

I hadn't played in about 5 years and I'm thinking I may have to play again soon.

No exercise I enjoy more than a good run on the court. I still get the competitive juices going as well especially against the young punks.

I work out 4-5 days a week, but it's just not the same. I quit playing because I've had 4 knee surgeries, last one was about 7 years ago. I lost my knee brace and have just been scared to play without one but I just can't take it any more. It felt good to get out there and make some shots and actually remember what it's like to compete. Funny/sad thing, my legs aren't nearly where I need them to be to play right now but apparently they're great for pump faking, something I NEVER used to do. Which is also funny because I used to hate how all of the old timers would pump fake all of the time, now I see why.

I've played 5 times all year and 4 of the 5 came in one week I need to be more consistent. It's literally the only workout I ever get besides walking to class.

I love playing I'm just nervous as hell about getting injured. I'm about to start applying for jobs where I'm going to have to be able to run and be somewhat agile, and I really just don't want to add another injury to my resume, but I LOVE PLAYING, I forgot how much I enjoyed it until today.

I played my son last night and literally thought I was going to throw up after one game to 15!

Got my wind after game one!

You will have a job that requires you to run?

During the summer I do a lot of swimming for cardio and play both tennis and basketball.

Played basketball last week end and I know where you're coming from man. By the time Monday morning came around and it was time to get up for work, it felt like I got hit by a car. Shoulders and back were extremely sore. Legs not so much since I run on the treadmill a lot.

I know the feeling, I used to play 3 or 4 times a week but when I recently picked up a consistent running time I thought I was going to die.
