If your Facebook account is one of those joint names like MarkAndAshley, I'm just going to assume in advance that no, you can't go out for beers with the guys.

Who knows? But he gets mad if my phone at my desk rings more than a couple of times before I answer. Given his impatience, you'd think he'd just call me rather than page me. Paging me means that it takes the time the page takes to go across the network, me to find it in the bottom of my purse, desk drawer, or wherever I threw it, and then call him back.

He refuses to get me a company cell phone, but I have to have my work e-mail accessible on my personal cell phone, and have to be accessible by phone 24/7. Crazy dude, IMO.

If my work isn't paying a rather large chunk of my cell phone bill then there is no way I'd go for that.

Champions aren't made in gyms.Champions are made from something they have deep inside them. They have to have last minute stamina; they have to be a little faster; they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.

People who state their opinions as fact. Good thing that never happens here on BGP.

-People who commit to an activity and then back out at the last minute without a good reason. I would much rather have a person tentatively commit or just decline altogether if they don't want to attend or think their schedule may interfere.
-Someone mentioned this earlier, but I also hate when people throw their cigarette butts out their windows. For that matter, littering in general is incredibly irksome.

With triplets, my perspective has changed on a lot of things.

My #1 is people who say, "I feel sorry for you." Really??

My response - "I am sorry that God has not blessed you as much as He has me."

OK...here's one that happened to me twice this week already:

Joggers/Runners who run in the street, even though there's a sidewalk (and a very nice, wide one at that).

I leave for work before daylight every morning. I absolutely respect those who get up that early to run/jog. But for the love of God! Use the sidewalk! Streets are for cars, sidewalks are for people! If there are sidewalks, please use them, especially if it's an area where there is parking on the street! It's not just for my sake, but for your safety!

And another one related to the same:

Joggers/runners who run in pairs/a group down the street (not on the sidewalk), and refuse to move aside to let cars pass. AAAARRRRGHHHHH!

Good one, RM!! I always wonder the same thing! Sidewalks are so nice, why make the cars have to dodge you?

I concur. On the flip-side, motorists on non-sidewalked roads that refuse to get over for a biker or cyclist. I have literally had times being out in the middle of nowhere, running against traffic like you are supposed to, and the car will not only refuse to get over, but they may not even decrease in speed and I am forced to jump in the grass at the last minute.

Also, people who think you are supposed to ride a bike on a sidewalk.

Agree with all of the above.

People who stop in a room or isle at the narrowest part, making it difficult/impossible to get by.

As an avid runner and someone familiar with road and sidewalk construction, sidewalks are more often than roads to be in worse condition than a street with many cracks, crevices, and other deficiencies. Think about how often you see a road resurfaced and think about how many times you see a sidewalk resurfaced. Not to mention a blacktop surface is much more forgiving than a paved concrete sidewalk. More dangerous for runners and motorists obviously, but healthier for your joints and muscles.
