    All of our dogs when I was a kid were named Klondike . All of my fathers and grandfathers dogs too. When my grandfather ( born in 1882 ) was a kid one of the defining events of the time was the gold rush in the Canadian Klondike . Hence the name .

    That is exactly what my hubby says! We are considering D'oggy. (pronounced DEE OGGY). He'll probably call him Dog no matter what we decide to name it.

    my son is settling in on Taz, although I am not crazy about that name.
