    Guilty Pleasures: Concert Edition

Name a concert or concerts you have attended that fall under the "guilty pleasure" category. For those who are not 100% sure what that means it's a concert that you really enjoyed but were concerned about your friends' reaction to the fact that you actually went to see that performer.

    I'll start.

    Barry Manilow.

Hanson, I took my wife a couple of years ago. I left impressed, they've gotten away from the teenie bopper style and play a more alternative style. For 15 bucks thoug hthey played a 3 hour set, so can't complain that we didn't get our monies worth.

Celine Dion. Without question, most talent I have ever witnessed. Also took my daughter to see the Backstreet Boys when they were on a roll.

Tom Jones. I took my mom, this was mid to late '90s I believe. I think I ended up enjoying it almost as much as she did, which shocked me.

    I have a few:

Barry Manilow.....when it was over and done, I was happy I went.

Tom Jones.....some great oldies and I enjoyed it. Tom's pelvic thrust at 60+ years of age was comical.

Prince......wasn't all that excited about going, but it was the most energetic concert I have ever been to.....by far!

Black Eyed Peas/Ludacris.......very much enjoyed the Black Eyed Peas, but the first act Ludacris was disgusting. These rappers have a very limited vocabulary. Awful.

    Carpenters......beautiful music.

Samantha Fox in a little downtown hole in the wall in Cinncy back in the early 90's. Front row center stage. My nephew wanted to go and I'd never heard of her and agreed to take him. Wow, what a show. He loved it too!!
