What a great show last night. ESPN has done a tremendous job with each of these shows.

    Shame about Webber though.............

Just a case of the NCAA showing their muscle. Ridiculous punishment, IMO.

Which is sad if true. I don't that that all that many could name all five of them off the top of their head, at least not before the publicity on this show.

Was very impressed with how honest, and actually frank, all the Fab guys were in talking about their time at Michigan. From talking about OSU, Duke, Lattener, Grant Hill, Michigan alums, etc. Each was very forthcoming and articulate in telling us exactly how they felt. That made the show for me.
How about those comments regarding Duke? Wow! Does that make them part of the 18%

When I heard an excerpt from Jalen Rose using the "Uncle Tom" expression, I knew it was must watch television. 2 hours was a little too long, but still some great work. Jalen is a pretty smart dude. Still blows my mind that Howard still plays in the NBA. I had forgotten about the "crack house" incident.

It all seemed very harsh to me, this seemed minor compared to the stripping of the banners from Michigan and calling both NCAA final games forfeits. I just noted the 2012 date thinking that maybe Webber was not allowed to be on the Fab Five documentary?

He just chose not to participate. Rose maintains they are all close, but you have to question C.Webb's relationship with the other 4.

Very good. One of the best 30 for 30's so far, although technically I guess it wasn't a 30/30 but shared some of the same producers. I was young when the Fab Five came out but they had a lot of impact on how I view college basketball. I grew up with a lot of neighborhood kids who were 5-10 years older than me, so even as a youngster I was still influenced by whatever was trending at the time. Perhaps maybe even more so being when your that young you can be very heavily influenced, especially by interacting with what you felt was the "cooler older kids." So needless to say when I was playing pee wee second grade basketball I was wearing black socks, black shoes and had already obtained a copy of Dr. Dre's, "The Chronic." Very cultured eight year old, I'll tell you that.

But even to this day the Fab Five are one of my favorite sports influences. I even catch myself routing for Michigan quite a bit in basketball and it really is all because of the Fab Five. Even when I go play basketball right now, whether it be rec league or whatever, I still wear black shoes and black socks.

I think it's solid. I read today that none of the other 4 will endorse any UM stuff until CWebb is allowed to in 2013.

Not sure they deserve the credit for the black shoes/black socks thing. Vegas was doing that before them. I was wearing that combo playing intramurals and pick-up ball a year or two before I ever heard of the Fab Five.

I'm watching it now, it's for sure one of the better ones I've seen.

I'm too young to remember watching the Fab5 but I didn't realize how sick Webber was in college.

I watched it and learned a lot from it! I would watch it again if they showed it.

That was a great one. The name is actually Pony Excess, though I did not realize it until it was referenced about two weeks ago

My favorite line from that one was when someone said A&M was giving away so many cars to players that SMU started calling it the Pontiac Trans A&M.
