    Maysville used to have a pretty good Court Day celebration; the week before Flemingsburg's if I recall correctly. Ran for many a year.

    City powers decided that it didn't want swappin' guns and dogs as part of their image, I guess...

    If anyone is in the market for a gun, any kind of gun then this just may be a way to go. Very good selections.

    Also, no crime - Everyone there is carrying a gun it seems , not a good place to rob someone or attack anyone

    Yes they used to have court day before Flemingsburg, all that is gone now, the powers that be thought that made their town's image look like we were a bunch of Kentuck....wait a minute we are Kentuckians.

    Something about a particular court used to meet only once a year and "vendors" would set up outside the court house and trade and barter with those coming in and out of the courthouse. That's what I've been told.
