Went ahead and cleaned off the driveway around 10:00. Just looked out and it is deeper than it was the first time. Got my morning workout planned.

    Tuesday morning update.

The snow will continue for some today. 1-3" will be possible southeast of a line from around Bowling Green to Maysville. With the heaviest amounts in southeast Kentucky. The following are looking at around 2". Somerset, Richmond. In eastern Kentucky, the amounts will be closer to 3" with locally higher amounts possible. Those in and around the Jackson area could see 3" also in the Ashland area. Pikeville around 2".

The snow should clear out of southeast Kentucky tonight after 7 pm ET.

Here are some maps to show you what I'm seeing.

Thanks, you should be ago for leaving Wednesday especially if you plan to travel through Georgia. This mornings info is showing a lesser chance of snow. I'll post an update later today.

Zero snow in Somerset as of 3:30...kinda shocked as radar showed snow just west of here around 11:00 last night.

It does look like it's still coming, but it's a few hours later than expected.

Just got to work here in Richmond. Roads are snow covered and slick. Snow is still coming down. Looks like we have at least an inch, maybe a little more, with more on the way.

I broke a finger nail on my coat zipper too!!

Thanks for the heads up! I'm working from home again. Harrison Co, IN issued a travel warning and emergency proclamation as well.

Still snowing here in West Bracken Co. 2-2.5" it appears. Road is covered, but what traffic has went past since I've been awake seems to be moving ok. Glad I don't have to get out until tonight.

Well for everything the storm Friday didn’t do, this one is. Last night, our sidewalks were barely dusted. Just went out to start my car and it’s above my ankles.

    When is spring?

We got ~2.5" in NKY.....I know I said it before, but we really can't thank you enough for all the weather related information you provide for us @nWo. We rely on your reporting more than the local meteorologists to the point that my wife now asks, "What's the BGP weatherman saying?"

Roads were pretty much snow covered on my drive in, until I got closer to downtown. Roads are just wet right around UofL's campus.

    Snow days never get old!
UK classes also cancelled. My daughter had a big med school exam today. She is so happy for the extra day to study.

That may not be far enough south. Most of the time, but not always.
