I've never had the chance to go deep sea fishing, or fishing in the sea period.

Though I have caught a 34 pound monster Cat out of my cousin's lake.

My biggest large mouth bass was 6 pounds.

Deep Sea Fishing is like Apples and Oranges.

It adds a whole new dimension to fishing - pain!

Honestly, I'd rather fish for stream smallies anyday than Salt Water Fish for anything.

My biggest Largemouth is about 5lbs, biggest cat is a 23 pounder from my grandma's old farm. I once caught a pretty nice stick on my fly rod. One day i hope to go to the florida keys, and try to catch a billfish on a fly rod.

8lb largemouth from McNabb Bay on Lake Barkley. Watermelon tube bouncing off the bottom and took off like I'd never seen a line go. It was awesome, took about two hours for my heart to quit pounding.

Last year caught a 25 lb. drum on a tube jib and 6 lb. test while crappie fishing on Lake Barkley. Took 1 hour to land it and had to borrow a net from nearby bass fishermen to land it (borrowed a digital scale from some others). Poor little spinning real hasn't been the same since. I think I sat for 20 minutes looking at it before I could move again. You know that feeling you've got while you're fighting one like that? You know it's a drum or a carp but you are hoping to heaven its a monster bass.
