    Paint ball gun would be my choice of weapon in this situation. Doesn't hurt the dog seriously and sends a colorful message back to the dog owner.

    My guess is if you are hunting, fire at an animal 20 yards away and miss, you probably should be drinking beer by the fireplace….

    My thought's as well, I was just referring to woodsrider's comment about if the dogs decide to charge you.
