Actually lost one of the hooks to one of the smaller fish, but I replaced it. I've always had lots of luck with those lures, and the baby luck 13's as well.

I have a few of the old wiggle wart crankbaits and some of the old (balsa) fat raps and shad raps that I am very fond of.

I've had a lot of luck with the shad raps at the lake I caught that fish, as well as rapala minnow's, and rapala husky jerk's.

Guy gets into heaven. Sees an old man in a houndstooth hat walking on water. "Is that Bear Bryant?" He asks Saint Peter. "Naw" Pete says, "that's God. He just thinks he's Bear Bryant."

Don't forget to hold the fish closer to the camera at arms length. This gives the impression of a larger fish...but I bet you already know that.

Thanks. Sounds as though you had a great day and catching fish of that size is icing on the cake.

I have a couple of those with the paint eaten off of them along with an old fat rap that has been chewed on to where it is in the same shape.

That is a nice smallmouth. Don't tell to many about our secret bait.
