    I have three: a 38 revolver, Mossberg 12 gauge, and a Henry 22 rifle.

Marlin 336A lever action on 30-30.

Marlin 925 bolt action in .22LR

Ruger 10-22. Keep intending to play around tricking it out with a bull barrel and whatnot, but haven't gotten around to it.

1960s era Sears "Ted Williams Model" 200 shotgun in 12 gauge. It's a Winchester 1200 pump with Sears badging.

Browning Citori O/U in 20 gauge.

I have a few historic military guns that I've restored to shooting condition. I have shot them all, and they're fire-able, but I don't often. One's a British Enfield No.4 Mk 1, I also have a German WW2 Mauser Karabiner 98k, and then a Swedish WW1 era Mauser m/96.

    Oh....and I've got THIS fella.

My next purchase. I plan to get the take down model. A versatile rifle with cheap ammo. What's not to like?

Also, planning on getting a nice safe eventually.

I have two right now, actually. A second hand, non-fire rated safe for the guns, and a separate little metal lockbox the ammo. I'd always planned on doing that anyway, but that was a requirement of my not-so-fond-of-guns wife.

Once she gets through her residency and we move to wherever her career takes us, though, I'm planning on getting a nice Liberty or something like that.

Kind of my plan also. The plan is for my youngest to graduate in 2 years and I will become more rural. Hoping to build a small cabin out in the sticks. I currently live in a 3rd floor condo, so really didn't want to drag a 750lb safe up the stairs.

I guess I should have posted this list in here instead of in the "Guns you hunt with" thread.

Here's a list of my guns:

Remington Model 11 (with Browning action) semi-auto 12 gauge -- inherited from my Dad, lots of shells through this one from both my Dad and his cousin

Remington 870 20 gauge -- Christmas present when I was 16 yrs old

Winchester Model 42 .410 pump action -- from my Dad and my most cherished firearm. My Dad took quite a few rabbits with this. I never shot a squirrel with it but that is what I would use it for.

    Marlin 336c lever action in 35 Rem -- topped with a Leupold Vari-Xii, 1-4x-20mm

CZ452 American .22 LR bolt action -- a beautiful rifle and highly accurate, topped with a sightron-II scope

Marlin Model 60 semi-auto .22 LR -- somewhat sensitive to ammo, cheap Tasco scope, fun to shoot

Winchester Wildcat .22 LR bolt -- for son #1, iron sights only

Savage MKII .22LR left-handed bolt -- for son #2, iron sights only

Ruger Mark I .22 LR 1951 -- needs some work. from my Dad

Was chatting with a work friend. She found a gun she didn't know her husband had. Wanted it out of the house. He had it for 10 years or so and never fired it. Had a full box of hollow points. Snapped a pic and sent it to a guy I know who collects Colts. The images looked like it had rust on it. He told me fair price in that condition was around $350. Paid her the $$ brought it home and my buddy told me it I just doubled my money. The pics made it look like rust but it was only dust.
    Colt, cobra with snub.
She now has a Browning Belgium sweet 16 she wants to get rid of. I'll be looking at it in a couple of weeks.

I ended up with several shotguns, a couple of pistols and a rifle when my mom passed that belonged to either her or her husband before he passed. Only one gun is a "Family Heirloom" type gun, and old Winchester .22 Gallery Pump Action Rifle that had been passed on through family.

The rest we are looking to repurpose into a new home defense/target shooting rifle (Read AR-15)

Is the husband dead or divorced? I would not be happy if I found out my wife sold my gun.

Neither! just relocating from a big house to a small condo and she does not want the gun in the house. She swore she told him and I'm positive she did.

haha...what's the joke, if my wife told me either the gun goes or I go, I sure would miss her.
