    Favorite Fishing Trip Destinations

I have been on many, many fishing trips over the years and have many favorites. For bronzebacks you just can't beat LacBeauchene in Quebec (14 Hours via Toronto) or here in the States I'm partial to Pickwick Lake, Tennessee, (8 hours via Nashville) which is actually in Mississippi and Alabama. For Northern Pike the Pine Portage Fly-In American Plan Lodge can't be beat.

Where are your favorite fishing trip destinations????

    Boundry waters MINN....

The boundry waters in MINN was unreal....Clearwater Lake....one of the few places to rent a cabin in the boundry area. The clearest lake I have ever seen 20 feet nothing but clear. Just keep pulling them out all day.

Lets see, I drive 5 minutes to Lake Cumberland and do some of the best striper fishing OR do I drive 15 minutes and put in at Dale Hollow to have a round with the smallmouths? What a choice!

JJ: You are indeed fortunate. For those of us who have the Ohio River, the Ohio RIver and the Ohio River to choose from, a trip to Cumberland or Dale is a multi-day event, and then we "tourists" sure don't know it like you locals do.

Count Your (Smallmouth and Striper) blessings!!!
