I quit watching after the 2nd episode showed them go to the bathroom and the guy got on his knees to have oral sex with Moulder.

I guess you would call that a poor attempt at comedy.

Guess you felt like you were having the gay agenda shoved down your throat?

Only If Moulder would have unzipped his pants and let the guy do the deed.

Still yet why do they have to show that on that type of show, it has nothing to do with the plot of the show.

So just answer this, why did they feel the need to show that or write that on the script?

I thought it humanized the character, it was a nice touch.

Same reason why similar heterosexual encounters are depicted in Hollywood. It happens in real life, no matter how you try to shelter yourself. It didn't somehow make the overall story worse.

I finally got to watch the most recent episode last night. Pretty darned funny. The tongue-in-cheek episodes are among my favorites in the series.

Well for all the yrs it had been on it never showed anything like that.
    No need to start now.
Just proves my thoughts of an agenda to shove this crap into minds of people to think it's ok.

Considering it wasn't widely accepted during the show's initial run to portray that sort of thing on TV, I think it's just an example of depicting the world as it really is. Those people exist, regardless of how much you'd like to act like they don't. Do you feel more gay somehow because of seeing it?

Watched it last night. I guess I just like when they focus on hunting aliens and conspiracy theories because last night didn't do much for me either.

I'm with ya...seemed to be focusing a lot more time on re-constructing what we missed since 2002. The show ran from '93-'02 and aired 202 episodes. These past 4 have had the whole underlying what is the situation with Mulder and Scullys love child given up for adoption theme.

If ratings are up and warrant...they move ahead, connect the dots, and find the kid. If not, they show fades away into obscurity! Not showing a lot of hootspah on the defeating the smoking man and his minions front and exposing the truth. The Trash Man episode had more of a B film horror edge to it. And maybe the execs have crunched their #s and that's what they think they need to cater to. Time will tell!
