    Woody Harrelson

What are your thoughts on Woody Harrelson's career?

I feel like he's a somewhat underrated actor, which is due in large part to many of the roles that he takes on. My wife and I watched The Glass Castle last night and I really enjoyed it, especially his performance.

Got me thinking, I think quite a bit that he's done and just to name a few:

    Cheers
    White Men Can't Jump
    Hunger Games
    True Detective
    Friends with Benefits
    Seven Pounds
    2012
    Transsiberian
    Wag the Dog

.... and The People vs. Larry Flynt. A movie where Woody was up for Best Actor and the film was up for many other accolades by the Academy and others.

That was a great role. He made Larry Flynt look better than he probably is as a person.

Woody probably does deserve more love than he gets. Probably mostly because he's been more of a supporting actor than a leading man. Also, my generation, probably still knows thinks of Cheers when his name is mentioned. I can't believe that show has been off the air for 25 years now.

I agree that he has been underappreciated his entire career. He's a very talented actor.

I didn't want to name every movie that he's been in, just a few of my favorites.

Glad to see that others think he's underappreciated.

For those who may not know, he grew up just north of Cincinnati, in Lebanon Ohio. I agree that he is an underrated actor and has had many excellent performances in various roles as listed above.

Forgot about his brief but memorable stint in "No Country for Old Men."
