But Lion turned out to be a great movie. Based on a true story and a good story.
I agree with you 100% that Moonlight was a bad movie. Bird Man won Best Picture and after I watched it, I was angry for several hours because that movie was absolutely horrible.

I'm not ashamed to say the movie CHIPS wasn't too bad. If you're not expecting an Oscar-worthy movie and want some crude humor, this one will pass the time nicely.

I'm still aggravated that "Shakespeare In Love" beat out "Saving Private Ryan" for Best pic in 1999. A joke!

Robert Shaw should have won an Oscar for that one scene. Great actor.

I looked past the sappy story and occasional bad acting for the history lesson.

I tried, and watched the whole movie and had high hopes, but it was pretty bad, and some of the special effects were just gosh awful for a modern day movie. Embarrassingly so. And to be quite honest, when I saw the directors name in the opening credits...Mario Van Peebles, my heart started sinking before the ship did.

Then again, I already knew the story and had a good working knowledge of what had happened.

Enjoyed "2 Guns" last night with Marc Wahlberg and Denzel Washington. Interesting film about the repercussions of a bank heist in a small border town.

    Wasn't bad, wasn't great either.
