    Though not the first time he famously fronted a band, the debut "Holy Diver" for Ronnie James Dio's band Dio was a pretty strong effort.

    With a lineup of progressive heavy hitters, the band Asia's debut "Asia" is noteworthy, and did very well upon its release staying for nine weeks at the top of the charts.

    Layla by Derek and the Dominoes - For whatever reason I didnt consider this as a debut, but this is a fantastic album. Top 5 all time in my book.
