Sep 20, 19, 11:49 AM #16True blue (and gold) and I discussed this privately several months ago and came to the conclusion the timing/day/places in the sky ruled out it being the ISS.
I only bring this up because I did observe the ISS go overhead last night (9-19-19 from 846pm EDT to 851pm EDT). What an amazing thing to see in the sky.
However, the ISS was maybe 20% (at most) as bright as what I saw in the sky last October and what I saw was much bigger (larger in diameter) than the ISS. What I saw in the sky last October was at least 25% as bright as a full moon.Advertisement
