Runcible Owl
Dre Boyd led the Dragons with 19 points, followed by Kobe Brents' 17. Tayton Smith just missed a double-double, scoring 9 points and snagging 11 boards. WC's Geovanni Floyd saved the best for last yesterday. After winning the mid-day dunk contest, he followed up by scoring 10 of his 14 points in the second half. The Dragons led at each of the quarter stops. DragonFire
Lafayette Jefferson is the AP #4 team in Indiana's 4A class, their largest. Both the Sagarin ratings and MaxPreps ratings have them 11th in Indiana regardless of class. This was a massive, massive win for Central.
JDEaston
Congrats to the Dragons! I saw glimpses of what they're capable of in the AIT, they were just lacking consistency. This game shows what they're capable of when they play like they are able for all four quarters.
