Cincinnati Royals Adult Wheelchair Basketball Team ranked #6 in the nation

The Cincinnati Royals climbed to #6 in the first national rankings of the season. This marks the highest ranking in the 5 seasons the Royals have competed in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association. The top 16 teams in the country will qualify for the national tournament in March.

Yes definitely! One of our coaches played and won a gold medal at the Paralympics in 2016 but recently retired from international competition. I’m hoping the TV coverage will increase this time around. If ESPN can show cornhole tournaments, I have to believe there’s an audience for wheelchair basketball.
