Colonels_Wear_Blue
I sat and thought hard on them and only came up with 6 for Canada. Mexico I was able to come up with 9 without looking them up.

Jumper_Dad
I got 7, mostly from watching CFL. I also got one territory that I thought was a province. 4 Mexican states. :bag:
CincySportsFan
Got 7 for Canada, and after seeing the list there's one that I would've never gotten.
Getslow
To test yourself, I found a couple Sporcle quizzes: Provinces of Canada (I got 12/13) Canadian Provinces Map Quiz States of Mexico (Yikes, I only knew 9 of 31) States of Mexico Map Quiz
The Double Deuce
Or how many of the 31 states of Mexico can you name? I could name all 10 of Canada's provinces, and all 3 of their territories, and have been to 8 of the Canadian provinces (haven't been to P.E.I. or Newfoundland). However, I couldn't name a single Mexican state...not one. I've probably been to Mexico 5 times, 6 or 7 of their cities, and couldn't tell you one state that any of those cities were even in. I don't have a clue what state Mexico City is in, for starters.
Randy Parker
I didn't know there were 10 provinces, so that should answer your question.

rjs4470
I got all but one of Canada's provinces (Manitoba), but knew it's capital (Winnepeg). I could name two of Mexico's states, and only because of the dog (Chihuahua) and the sauce (Tobasco).
nkypete
I know we have above average intelligent participants on BGP. However, can you imagine how many people out there don't know the names of the 50 US states?

My grade school required you to know the 50 states alphabetically along with all the corresponding capitols in order to pass the 4th grade.
