16thBBall Fan
Just saw on Fayette County web site that the Head Basketball Coaching position at PLD was posted. Anyone know why Coach Chalk stepped down or he may have just retired. They will have one of the top two or three teams in the city this season. Just curious anyone know anything? mooremiller31
Basically since Chalk retired as a teacher he is required by FCPS rules to reapply for his coaching job. Which he is doing and will be “rehired”. It’s just a technicality and more FCPS red tape making things harder then they need to be.

I don't recall Billy Hicks having to do that at Scott Co. lol

Glad he’s still coaching.
