What is your go-to hard candy?

Jolly Ranchers? Peppermint discs? Werthers Original? Cinnamon discs? Butterscotch discs? Don't like hard candy?

Traditional Peppermint discs for me.

I like all those but I don't eat any hard candy.

I don't eat much candy at all, it's very rare. But when I do, it's cinnamon discs.

Those little rootbeer barrels. Reminds me of grandma's house.

Do Blow Pops count as hard candy? If so, those are my favorite. If not, it's Nerds.

Don't eat them as much anymore, but it used to be...Life-Savers, Lemon Drops, and something else that I don't know what they were called, but they always had a strawberry decorated wrapper, with a soft, chewy center.

Butterscotch for sure. I don’t ever buy hard candy, but if I’m at a place that has a bowl of hard candy I’m always reaching for butterscotch.

My first job was at a mom & pop hardware store, and I worked there with an ex-MLB pitcher named Tom Flanigan. Graduated from Cincinnati Elder in the early 1950s and was drafted by the White Sox. Spent 5 seasons or so in the Majors with the Sox and the Cardinals.

He called them "rooty-balls". Always had a stash of them in the nail apron he wore around at work. I would start my shift after I finished lifting in the football off-season, and he would toss me one each day as I walked in the door.

I can't stand the taste of cough drops to save my life...just can't handle them. So if I have a cough or a bad cold, I usually suck on Jolly Ranchers instead. I prefer the Jolly Rancher candy squares that come in the 12-pack to the round-ish rectangular ones you get in the bags.

I'll get Lemonheads every once in a while if I see them. I've still gotta make the box whistle after after finish them off.

My parents were not big into letting me or my sister have a lot of candy during the year. But, each Christmas we'd find one of these in our stockings.

Peppermints

Peppermints, butter rum, Werther's. And I'm old school, I like ribbon candy too.

Werthers.

If I had to pick one, it would probably be Butter rum lifesavers.

Unless you count Boston baked beans and burnt peanuts as hard candy.
