futurecoach
My first series back from the minors went well. Here is to hoping for another series win and more positive vibes in this thread. Game times are 7:10, 4:10, and then 1:10.

MJAlltheWay24
Ermie Lombardi bobblehead on Saturday. Sounded like fan projections should be a much nicer number this weekend, which pleases me.
ChickenWyngz
Reds have recalled Cody Reed and optioned Josh VanMeter back to the minors.
sumoroyal
Disco has pitched three Left Handers down and in and Dodgers have a double, Home Run and another double. What happened to pitching away?
sumoroyal
I guess you can not pitch them outside either. Pederson just took a high outside fastball into the left field seats. As fast as I type this, Muncy just goes deep to make it 4-0. Left Handers are killing Disco. Dodgers may hit 15 HR's this weekend.

16thBBall Fan
Nine up and nine down for the Reds. We look overmatched right now by a guy throwing 91 tops! What’s the latest on Wood coming back??
Voice of Reason
We look overmatched right now by a guy throwing 91 tops! What’s the latest on Wood coming back?? They are saying All Star break. When he gets back, we will have a left hander throwing 91 and mowing hitters down. Fortunately for the Reds in this series they will miss the other Dodger left hander who throws 91 and mows hitters down - Clayton Kershaw. Last year Kershaw averaged 91 on his fastball and had a 2.73 ERA. He also had 155 strikeouts in 161 innings with that 91 MPH fastball. Also, last year Rich Hill threw 132 innings and had 150 strikeouts.
sumoroyal
Reds lose 6-0 to probably the worst of the three pitches Dodgers are throwing this weekend. Maybe we will have better luck tomorrow.
CincySportsFan
A somewhat amazing stat mentioned at the end of the broadcast. Tonight's loss was just the 6th of the season in which the margin has been more than 2 runs.
MJAlltheWay24
Muggy as heck down there tonight. Hopefully the Reds perform better tomorrow.
