They are saying All Star break. When he gets back, we will have a left hander throwing 91 and mowing hitters down.

Fortunately for the Reds in this series they will miss the other Dodger left hander who throws 91 and mows hitters down - Clayton Kershaw. Last year Kershaw averaged 91 on his fastball and had a 2.73 ERA. He also had 155 strikeouts in 161 innings with that 91 MPH fastball.

Also, last year Rich Hill threw 132 innings and had 150 strikeouts.

Reds lose 6-0 to probably the worst of the three pitches Dodgers are throwing this weekend. Maybe we will have better luck tomorrow.

A somewhat amazing stat mentioned at the end of the broadcast. Tonight's loss was just the 6th of the season in which the margin has been more than 2 runs.

Going into last night’s game Hill had pitched 15 innings, allowed 17 hits, 7 earned runs, 4.20 era with 5 hr allowed, mowing hitters down?? Hardly, until last night!
