swamprat
The Jackets simply got manhandled last night in Columbus as Boston ended their 5 game winning streak. Bobrovsky, who has been brilliant of late, didn't have it last night, and the Bruins out muscled Columbus on the check. When you get out checked, you lose. That's what happened last night. Boston ran out to 4-0 lead with the Bob getting pulled after giving up 4 goals on 23 shots. Joonas Korpisalo only face 5 shots the rest of the game, but gave up 2 more goals. Oliver Bjorkstrand and Matt Duchene scored to cut the lead to 5-2 with over 10 minutes to go, but the Bruins added another a little over a minute after Duchene's goal to seal the deal. The loss puts the Jackets back in a tie for the last playoff spot with Montreal, who won, and 1 point behind Carolina, who also won. The Jackets hold the tie break over Montreal and if they tie with Carolina, hold the tie break over them as well. Everybody has 2 games left.
