Antonio Brown Officially Requests Trade

Recommended Posts

Brown is an exceptional football player but has acted like a spoiled teenager off the field in the past couple years. Might also want to add L. Bell to this conversation as less than a team player. Can't help but believe Mike Tomlin has displayed a lack of support/direction with these guys.

I said a few years ago that he was starting to become like Chad Ocho Cinco was his last few years. The only difference is he at least has still produced, even while having all his antics. Eventually the production will fall, and he will quickly find himself out of the league, because it will no longer be worth all the other stuff.

Have fun in Buffalo, Steelers eat 21 million, one of the rare bad personnel moves by Pittsburgh.

What exactly do you think Pittsburgh should do then? Pay the guy to keep causing conflicts in the lockerroom by showing up whenever he wants when he wants? And that was when he still wanted to be there. Just imagine how bad he will be if they refuse to trade him.

It’s easy to spend other people’s money.

Once again what did you expect for them to do with him? Its been shown he already hasnt been listening to coaches, that he is going to do his own thing. Show up to meetings when he wants, meetings, etc. This was all before he even requested a trade. Now that he definitely wants out, he probably would be even worst with all that stuff. Plus remember as he said AB ain't playing no more without no more guaranteed money either.

So yes you could have paid him money to ruin your lockerroom and possibly their season next year. Or lose the money still with a huge dead money hit but have him gone and try to get back to the way Pittsburgh was before he came. Remember they haven't won a super bowl with him either and seem to be trending away from a super bowl with him anyways.
