The Male Bulldogs (H) claim their 8th State Championship.

Male combined a swarming defense with a diverse offense and some key special teams plays to win the Kentucky 6A State Championship.

Good game to watch. Both teams were obviously strong...but Male was stronger.

Garrett Dennis was a show all on his own. 30 rushes for 188 yards & 3 TDs, and 10-13 passing for 110 yards.

Glenn Covington and Bryan Hudson were great to watch on the Scott County side.

Male has something special moving up in freshman Vincel Anthony, as well.

I've heard before that it was the first high school in the area so it was originally named "High School." Then once other high schools were formed it became Louisville Male High School but they just kept the "H" for tradition.
