I just gave my retirement notice here, and have a job offer down there. Our house is supposed to have all the punch list items done by the middle of next week.

St Pete Beach.

Pretty darn close to SR. He and I got to tailgate the Bulls/Illini football game last year.

Jealous. Florida is in my plan, sometime in the future.

Congrats, you're moving to an absolutely beautiful area, as you well know. Swamprat, Lightning hockey and grouper, what more could you ask for? Although with a name like coldweatherfan, I don't know how you're going to be able to deal with those hot Florida Summers.

Come on. When I left for work, at 5:30 yesterday morning, it was only 84.

Welcome, @coldweatherfan, though you've practically been living here for the last couple of years. Not flying every other weekend will be nice for you. We'll have to have you guys up, once you get settled.

What you need to do is what I do, spend October to May there and back north for the summer.

There's something to be said about 75 degree days in January.
