Fast & Furious Comes to Alexandria

Apparently someone stole a semi and was being chased by police on US 27 around Alexandria.

The semi crashed into a police cruiser and the guy took off on foot. I typically don't take 27 in the morning, but heard it was really backed up. I take the AA up to Wilder and I saw four police cruisers all with their lights on and didn't have any idea what they were doing. I guess they were waiting around to see if anyone came out of the woods up onto the AA while escaping.

Good friend of mine was struck by the semi, bringing it to a stop. Just talked with him on the phone and amazingly, he didn't even have a scratch.

Wonder what the truck was hauling?

John Deere lawn tractors.

Stole the empty truck somewhere in Sharonville, then stole the John Deere stuff in Ameila, & the chase ended in Cold Spring/Alexandria.

Last update I saw was at 10:30am and he was still on the run.

I would say his MO probably fits Waffle House better plantmanky. Could be where he took the on foot shortcut down the hill after ditching the truck.
