nWo
Those who live near the Ohio River could see scattered strong to severe storms later today. Especially in Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to be ongoing across portions of the risk area this morning. As a result, there is a degree of uncertainty with respect to the heating and destabilization across the outlook. In the areas where the cloud cover has some breaks, local destabilization will likely be sufficient for an afternoon increase in storms close to the front. A few scattered strong to severe storms that could produce locally gusty/damaging winds and possibly some hail in the areas of greatest destabilization. The risk should diminish gradually during the evening, though a more widespread rain could occur into the overnight hour. This simulated radar is from 11 am to 11 pm EDT. Take care and have a blessed day.
