Is the Jenkins job open?

I'm hearing Coach Chandler is out. Spoke to the team yesterday.

If so, it's a real shame for those kids in the Cavalier program. Chandler was the first coach since 2011 to stay on for more than one season, and he was only there for 2 years.

Why would he be out now? Seems like he was working hard. Why wait until now?

Not sure. But I was told he was going to coach elsewhere as an assistant.

What is the deal with Jenkins? The season is less than a month away, and according to Jenkins schedule (KHSAA Scoreboard), only got 5 games on there. Are they going to field a team or what? Any word on a coach?

Several schools haven't posted their schedules yet. The five games Jenkins has on there have been posted by the opponent. Most schools usually have their games posted early but they'll all be there by the first of August. They'll have ten games.

The schools enter the schedules. For some reason some of the coaches/ADs are slow to input the information. Those games have been posted by those schools. The other 3-4 games aren't posted because neither has put it in.
