West Jessamine's Jody Hamilton retires

Recommended Posts

After 37 years, 938 wins, and two state titles, legendary coach Jody Hamilton has called it a career. He got his start at Raceland in the early 80's before making the move to Boyd County, where his squads dominated the 16th Region, winning 11 regional championships and a state title in 2001. In 2004 he took the reigns at West Jessamine, where he added four more region crowns and a second state title in 2015.

Quite a career for one of the all time greats in Kentucky High School baseball.
