Open Job: Bethlehem

Bethlehem will be looking for their third coach in as many seasons as Coach taylor is no longer the coach.

Not sure if resigned or not but one would assume he resigned. Former girls coach became boys coach last year when Artie Braden stepped down. Taylor was able to coach his son last year for his senior season, the Eagles made the 5th region before losing to LaRue County.

He works full-time for one of the distilleries in town and I'm told that was his reason for stepping away from coaching. He was an assistant for Kelly Wood for the Nelson Co. girls for a few seasons before becoming Bethlehem's girls' coach.

I heard a very interesting name as being, possibly, the next coach at Bethlehem. A retired former coach who had one of his teams reach the Sweet Sixteen finals once upon a time.

Kind of surprised, yet not.

I don't know about state finals. A few region titles, though. Should be an announcement soon.
