...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/

THIS EVENING TO 8 AM EDT /7 AM CDT/ MONDAY...

 

 

* WHAT...2 to 4 inches of snow, localized higher amounts possible

between the KY Parkways. The snow will be heavy at times

overnight.

 

 

* WHERE...Portions of central Kentucky.

 

 

* WHEN...This evening through Monday morning. Heaviest snow

overnight.

 

 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions,

including during the morning commute on Monday. Be prepared for

reduced visibilities at times. Expect northeast winds gusting 20

to 30 mph at times.

 

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

evening, becoming heavy wet snow at times overnight.

Accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected between the Kentucky

Parkways with localized higher amounts possible. Across far

southern Kentucky and north central Kentucky, 1 to 2 inches are

4 AM CDT MONDAY...

 

 

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches

are expected. Isolated higher amounts are possible in small

bands of heavy snow.

 

 

* WHERE...Mississippi River counties of southeast Missouri, all of

western Kentucky, and southern Illinois from the Marion Carbondale

area south and east.

 

 

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 4 AM CDT Monday.

 

 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. A burst

of heavy snow could produce poor visibility below one-half mile.

Although pavement temperatures will be above freezing, snowfall

rates up to an inch per hour could produce a slushy accumulation

on the roads.
