A great way to draw interest to a new thread topic, is to provide names of players/teams who one thinks should be considered.

Your opinions are valued here. Who do you see as the top players in each grade in NKY?

Travis Smith (Walton) RHP/OF/INF#2 starter on varsity up to 83mph on mound. He also has a decent stick with some power. Plays for 15u CBC Black in Summer.

Trent Adkins (Simon Kenton) INF/OF Very good stick, hits for power and average, plays JV. Plays for 15u CBC Black in the summer.

Austin Henschen ( Beechwood ) LHP/OF /1B with good stuff on the mound, not overpowering but hits his spots. Gap to gap hitter, controls the bat well. Plays JV and is all around player. Plays for 15u CBC Black for summer ball.

Logan Stevenson ( Campbell Co.) RHP throws in the low 80's with good secondary pitches. I'm assuming he will split time between JV/Varsity.. Plays for 16u ATY in summer.

Will Rolf (Beechwood) OF Will is super fast and can run down a ton of balls in the outfield. He started JV as an 8th grader last year and played some varsity also. He will start off on JV due to an injury and could get moved up for defensive purposes and running. Plays for 15u Rampage Elite in the summer.

Some real quality players on this list........ Henschen & Rolf have great potential to be the next great players at Beechwood.

Keep your eye on Ludlows Hayden Stamm. Outstanding catcher and calls a good game. I look for big things from him the next 4 years. Go Panthers!
