Estill County has to use the same strategy they used to win the region——control the pace of the game. Corbin will attempt to press and speed the game up but Estill has 3 good ball handling guards that don’t turn over very easily. And the 6’5 Doty twins and 6’3 O’Hair gives them good size once they get into their half court game.

But it’s a must that the Engineers don’t have many turnovers vs a solid Corbin defense.

On defense they’re going to need Corbin to have an off shooting night, which doesn’t happen very often, and limit them to one shot. The Doty’s did well in defending the basket in the region by altering shots and getting several blocks. They’ll need to do the same here.

For Estill County to win this game the score can’t be any higher than the 50’s, preferably 40’s.
