Severe Weather Report for February 24-25

Widespread flash flooding and several tornadoes occurred across central Kentucky and southern Indiana from the afternoon hours February 24 through the early morning February 25.

There was 1 flood fatality in Simpson County, KY southeast of Franklin. Six tornadoes have been confirmed over central Kentucky so far:

EF-2 near Adairville (Logan County)

​1 fatality and 1 injured near Dot

EF-1 near Hays (Warren/Barren Counties)

EF-1 near Lewisburg (Logan County)

EF-1 in Garrard County (6 miles east of Lancaster)

EF-2 in Grab (Green County)

EF-1 in Butler County
