Wireman
It's going to be hard to improve on 15-0, but they will have some players ready to step in.

How many starters did Danville lose off last seasons state championship team?
Wireman
@Wireman, you would know better than anyone. How many starters did Danville lose off last seasons state championship team? They lost a lot. Only major numbers coming back will be QB Zach Thornton and Darrian Bell on defense. They certainly have some athletes who will fill in. They won't have a VanCleave and probably not a Don Harris. Next season will be different. Not necessarily bad, but different

ThinThirty1981
Wouldn’t you have rather played the State Championship team again, now you want to beat up on a bunch of young guys, that’s really not going to prove much, Oh! And they may be a little better than every one thinks

DanvilleFan
Obviously, there will be lots of questions about how the Ads fill in the holes left behind by a great senior class. Regardless of how next year goes, though, I was just happy to get a state title back in Danville for the first time in 14 seasons. It was far too long.
