WWE to eliminate dual-branded PPV's?

A lot of reports that beginning with Backlash in early May, WWE will have all Pay-Per-View events feature both Raw & Smackdown superstars. Noted journalist Dave Meltzer has not confirmed it with WWE, but he believes it is likely true.

That would cut down on a lot of PPV's. No reason to have so many. Have both shows make matches and have them both in one PPV. I think that the mixed match challenge will soon be nixed as well, apparently it's dropping views like crazy.
