PARK HILLS – CJ Fredrick was thinking of his teammates Friday night and not any future Mr. Basketball balloting.

The Covington Catholic senior and his teammates couldn’t have scripted their Senior Night any better on their home floor as they put on a virtuoso performance.

Fredrick’s game-high 28 points carried the blue Colonels to an emphatic 81-37 win over Dixie Heights. CovCath improved to 23-4 with its 11th straight win. The Colonels, ranked third in the Associated Press state poll, have not lost since Jan. 9 to Winton Woods.

I think this is the 3rd time a Colonel has outscored the other team in the first half.

While it's no surprise, and was to be expected this season, the way that CovCath is dismantling everyone is just nuts. :eek:
