A couple of observations:

1) The Camp Ernst Middle School program is very strong at all three grade levels.

2) The West Division has 10 of the 12 semifinalists.

1) The Camp Ernst Middle School program is very strong at all three grade levels.

2) The West Division has 10 of the 12 semifinalists.

Camp Ernst’s 6th grade team is phenomenal. You can tell they’ve played together for a while as they have great ball movement. Their bigs are athletic. They will run you out of the gym within the first few minutes if the game. They release after shots on both ends better than any other team which leads to numerous fast breaks, and they prevent them. They will walk away with the 6th grade championship.

I hear these Camp Ernst teams will be split up after this year with the new middle school opening up.

IMO I think the West Girls is loaded vs East Girls this year.

Then for the boys East are loaded vs West boys.

I wonder with the New middle school in the west next year there will be 8vs7 teams then. I wonder if they move anyone to the Southern Division.

In 6th grade, Conner beat Pius by 2 to advance to the finals. I can only assume they’ll play Camp Ernst.

Congratulations to the Highlands 8th grade girls and Coach Olivia Huber. Big upset win over St Pius

6th grade Camp Ernst won by about 20 over Conner.

7th grade Camp Ernst won by 6, 39 - 33 over IHM.

8th grade Highlands won over St. Pius.
