Mustang
The Brossart Lady Stangs made surprisingly easy work of the 12-5 Paris Lady Hounds, opening up an 18-4 first quarter advantage and were never threatened. Seven Lady Stangs put ink in the scorebook in the first quarter. The L'Stangs were led by Freshman Madison Crowe with 13 points. Her classmate Marie Kiefer netted 10 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked 8 shots. Chez Tye led the Paris attack with 10 points. With the win, the Lady Stangs improve to 11-5 on the campaign, succeeding in 7 of our last 8 outings. The Lady Stangs advance to the 10th Region Finals on Saturday at 6pm (Weather gods permitting) at Nicholas County High School where they will face the host Lady Jackets in a re-match of the 2017 finals, won by Nicholas County. Option Right
Not going to beat a lot of teams when you shoot 9 of 49 from the field and 11 of 22 from the free throw line ... give credit to Brossart, and freshman Marie Kiefer because she owned the paint!
