So how you feeling about your team(s) and season?

 

My TWolves are starting to take form. Jimmy "Buckets" Butler is easily their best player. KAT's production scoring wise has dropped some, but over the past 2-3 weeks he has made strides defensively. Butler and Taj's presence have been invaluable. I hate how many minutes Thibs plays the starters, but I am not sure what the alternative is. Jamal Crawford is their best bench contributor, with Dieng generally giving solid minutes. Tyus Jones has started to grow on me.

 

Oh yeah, and last night they obliterated the Cavs who are absolutely putrid on defense. Minnesota was up 41 points at one time.

I am coming around on Boston maybe representing the East. It is amazing how great they are on defense. Last week the TWolves went to Boston and the whole game every possession on offense they were out of sorts... and Minnesota can get buckets, typically. It is weird, you get shots on them, but they scout so well, each shot you take is in a place you struggle.

Kidding aside, LeBron is amazing to watch. Last night he was held to a season low, but how massive he is amazes me each time. Butler was guarding him and I bet LeBron outweighs him by 60 pounds. That said, his defensive game is just not there. On offense he is as good as ever. (He did block Tyus Jones on a layup and in typical fashion had to stare down he and the Wolves bench. Congrats, another fastbreak block on a 6'0" guard. Later in the game Jones stuffed one down not allowing LeBron to have his patented breakaway block )

 

Will the Cavs make a trade for DeAndre Jordan before the deadline?

Donovan Mitchell is fun to watch.

The Cavs are fine, the Sixers are two years away from unseating them, Lonzo is better than stats, DeRozan is butchering Kobe’s game like Kobe did to MJ’s, Harden is really good.

The Bulls get Lavine back Saturday.

The Lakers have many problems, but I think Lonzo will be a tremendous PG. He is incredibly well rounded on the court. That shot is all sorts of broken though and he does become disengaged at times.

Which would make them 15-21 when he does. Their just not very good either way.

Darius Miller seeing good time for the Pelicans, averaging around 8 PPG and is 16 in the league in 3 point percentage.

I have a theory about the Cavs and their struggles.....They've got an older roster. They're aiming at the 4 seed. That way they can face the Celtics earlier and be fresher. Then if they win, they can just coast through the ECF against whoever it is and try to rest up and have the legs to deal with Golden State.
