Former Cov. Holy Cross student suing KHSAA

Both Spencer Macke( Highlands) and Ty Houston( Cooper) families suing KHSAA after leaving Holy Cross last year! Both tried to transfer to schools listed and got denied!! What are your thoughts on this?

I can't speak for the Macke family but I can tell you that the Houston family is not suing the KHSAA. They are awaiting the word on their appeal.

I'm told Cooper got letter from KHSSA clearing Ty, family waiting to receive theirs Certified Mail.....should have requested it be sent FedEx.

Why does it matter? They transferred for academic or logistic reasons?

Let the kids play! The Mackes live in Ft Thomas and it should be a no brainer. They were not happy with the academics at HC and decided to put their kids back in Ft Thomas schools where they attended since Kindergarten.

And honestly I have no problem with kids being eligible when switching schools but lets be upfront and honest about it.

Academics? LOL If you were concerned about academics, why leave a Blue Ribbon school to begin with?

Julian himself said JV/Frosh is basically practice. They don't care about eligible/ineligible at that level.
