2018 Hoops for Harvest Showcase - Dixie Heights HS 12/2/17

Recommended Posts

I received this from Coach Paige Bosse at Simon Kenton this morning about the 2018 Hoops for Harvest Showcase on 12/2 at Dixie. Great mix of teams locally and from out of state coming in.

Hoops for Harvest is a girls basketball showcase event that benefits the Athletes United Foundation, a Kentucky based non-profit organization that benefits families in need. The event pairs local teams against top teams from across the region. This year’s event features local teams from Boone, Kenton and Campbell County including: Dixie, Scott, Simon Kenton, Ryle, Conner, Highlands and Campbell County. We have also secured other top teams from Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and even a top 10 team in the country from Chicago, Illinois. The event was a huge success last year and this year is set to have an even stronger line-up of local teams as well as top regional teams.

There are 18 teams and 10 games.

9:00 a.m. Goshen (Cincinnati, OH) vs. Scott High School (KY)

10:20 a.m. West Clermont (Cincinnati, OH) vs. Simon Kenton (KY)

anyone know anything about the out of state teams?

Montini Catholic is one of the top 10 teams in the country, They have girls that are 6'5 and 6'3 going to Wake Forest, and Ohio State, as well as a girl going to Valpo. Pickerington Central has 5 girls that are playing D1. The other out of town teams are pretty good as well.

I guess we will find out how SHA stacks up to a top tier team featuring many D1 players.
