Jim Schue
Louisville is allegedly a "Colts Market," yet, most people I know gave up on the Colts once Peyton left. The fact that Andrew Luck can't stay healthy has further eroded any legit claim the Colts might have to the WLKY market (which always plays the Colts, unless they're hosting an NFC team, and then it's on WDRB). Plus, my experience tells me Louisville and its surrounding area is a very mixed market, with fans of teams from all across the country. And that's even when Peyton was around. It's just awful football being foisted upon us in the local WLKY (and WDRB to a lesser degree). Make your voice heard. Tell them to abandon the Colts, since they stopped bothering to offer us a decent football product. newstips@wlky.com
GrantNKY
If they stop showing the Colts they'll show the Bengals or the Titans. I'm not sure what there is to complain about.
Phantom 5497
Of the three, I would pick the Titans, maybe not for the team, but Nashville is a fun city!
Jim Schue
Of the three, I would pick the Titans, maybe not for the team, but Nashville is a fun city! At least the Titans are competitive in most games. Today, however, I'm glad I'm in a "Colts Market" since they're playing the Steelers.
halfback20
So you aren't a Colts fan but you're trying to talk Colts fans into asking for a different team to be on TV every Sunday?
rockmom
So you aren't a Colts fan but you're trying to talk Colts fans into asking for a different team to be on TV every Sunday? Thinking about it, I don't think I know one Colts fan. NFL fans I know in Louisville are Bengals, Packers, Steelers, Patriots or Titans, with Bengals fans the largest number. I'm not sure how it was decided that this was a Colts market. Interesting question to explore, to be sure.

True blue (and gold)
So you aren't a Colts fan but you're trying to talk Colts fans into asking for a different team to be on TV every Sunday? No. You are missing the big picture. None of us that live in the Louisville area know any Colts fans, even though we are supposedly a Colt market. We know Bengals, Steelers, Patriots fans most, then a few others. Thus, Schue's post.
Jim Schue
So you aren't a Colts fan but you're trying to talk Colts fans into asking for a different team to be on TV every Sunday? Louisville has long been a divided town for NFL loyalties, long before Bob Irsay packed up the vans in the dead of night in a hasty retreat from Baltimore. Colts never got traction until Peyton came along. Now that he's gone, nobody cares anymore. Louisville has significant populations of Bengals, Steelers, Cowboys, Vikings and Packers fans, as well as Bears and Browns. You see a few Titans fans around too. It's an open town, and the local TV schedule should reflect that. The Colts were only a thing with Peyton. Now it's just bad football foisted upon a TV market that has no say over the matter, unless people start flooding their inboxes.
