BLACKSBURG, Va. - The No. 7 Louisville men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to six matches while registering its fourth shutout in that span with Friday's 1-0 road victory against Virginia Tech at Thompson Field.

Winning for the fifth time in the last six matches, the Cardinals moved to 8-1-2 overall and 4-1-0 in the ACC with Friday's triumph. Louisville also moved to 4-0-0 in road matches, while the Hokies dropped to 7-5-0 on the season and 2-3-0 in ACC matches.
