SnottieDrippen
Cal and the university are advocating players speaking about social issues. UK hoops social commentary- Courier-Journal I know millionaires aren't allowed to have opinions, so how about those playing for free? Or have they never experienced an injustice because they're playing for U.K. now?

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not for a second acting as if those dudes are getting paid to come there, I am just pointing out that no D-1 full scholarship athlete is playing for free. Not by a long-shot.

MentschTrachtGottLacht
Just curious are you concluding their education is their payment orrrrrr? Education. Books. Meals. Discretionary monies. Gear. Travel. Family perks. For the average D1 basketball player, that can be over $50,000 per year. Hardly "free."

They are free to do as they wish with that money.
