swamprat
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's soccer team earned a 2-2 draw against Marshall on Wednesday night at NKU Soccer Stadium. The Norse are now 3-0-3 in the past six matches and 4-1-3 overall. Marshall's record moves to 5-1-2. "We are starting to see some real resilience from this group, and tonight was the epitome of that," said NKU head coach Stu Riddle. "To come from behind twice at separate times against a great team was excellent, and we know we have nothing to fear moving forward." NKU20
Perfectly political correct game. No loser, but then again no winner. Why can't they play until someone wins the game. If not why bother. Sorry not a fan of ties.

If not why bother. Sorry not a fan of ties. Some of the most exciting matches I've seen have been ties. They play 90 minutes of regulation and two 10 minute sudden death overtime periods. That's 110 minutes. That's more than 7 quarters of football. It's a full college basketball game and 14 overtime periods. At some point you have to say enough is enough. Nobody's going to win this. They do penalty kicks after the second overtime in the playoffs.
