They were stopped for a minor traffic violation. This is why I have no problem with police stopping cars for minor violations like missing plates or headlight burned out.

I saw on Newport's FB page, they had a minor traffic stop and the guy had a small amount of marijuana in plain sight, so they did a search of the car. They found a large supply of heroin, cash and a .22 (why would anyone carry a .22). Upon the search of the car, they got a warrant for his house and found larger amounts of heroin and cash. Again, due to a minor traffic violation.

Cops are profiling these folks! Just not fair!

Hope they all get sent away for a long time!
