Former Phillies team leader Darren Dalton dead at 55 from brain cancer.

1st catcher I drafted back in the day when I played Fantasy Baseball and kept stats by hand. RIP

One of my favorite Phillies. The 93 team that came from nowhere to go to the series was a ton of fun to watch and full of personalities. And Dutch was their leader.

Mrs. Lawnboy called me this afternoon to tell me "Dutch" passed away, she was a little saddened about it, as she had the biggest crush on him when we 1st started dating and after we were married.

She has her own Darren Daulton baseball card collection, and if one of DLG's would have been a boy there would be a Daulton Christopher Burkart out there.
